I started by learning to ship alone: an iOS app end to end, an optimised donation page for a charity fashion show, an internal data collection tool. Code every time, but above all a decision to make about what actually matters to the user.

Before the army I held jobs that look nothing like a developer's CV: drafting hearing minutes for a law firm, running a non-profit's office relocation and migrating the credentials of its twelve staff members. Rigour and discretion are learnt there, not in front of a screen.

Since January 2026 I have been in the Swiss Armed Forces — recruit, soldier, then sergeant in six months. I train recruits and I lead soldiers. Development never stopped: it simply moved to the weekends.

Former competitive athlete — Swiss team champion in the Kids Cup, long jump finalist at the ICG in Ufa. That is where I picked up the habit of training without being asked.
